The Seahaven Badge (previously not available in digital form) has now been drawn (so I was bored...) and is available for all to steal and use however they like (provided of course that it is for Scouting purposes...). Simply copy and paste from this site, or if you want a larger image that will maintain its picture quality email webmaster@9thseaford.co.uk. All cheques gratefully received, payable to Helen Elliott. Only joking... I know the seagull looks like it's been pinching a few too many chips from elderly people on Seaford seafront but you can't have everything can you...
Congratulations to the 16th Seaford Scout Troop, who achieved remarkable first and second placings in this year's Seahaven District Evening Challenge Hike, with 3rd Newhaven A Team coming in third. The newly expanded Explorer section was won by Dragoons A Team, with the Boah Explorers in second. For the full results table check out the Evening Challenge Results page.
Do you represent a Scout Group or other charitable organisation? Would you love to have a website but lack the time or the knowledge to put one together? Let me do it for you! I am teaching myself web design (you're looking at my third attempt) and for a small, nominal, negotiable fee I will put together a professional-looking site to publicise your organisation, without charging you mega bucks by the hour. For more information, or to start negotiations, email webmaster@9thseaford.co.uk.
All our groups are currently accepting new members. If you have previously been a member of another group, are new to the area, or are interested in becoming a member, follow the links on the left to find out more. 9th Seaford Scout Group currently operates three sections, all of which take boys and girls. The Beavers (aged 6-8) meet on Wednesday evenings, the Cubs (8-10½) and Scouts (10½-14) meet on Thursday evenings, all at St Thomas More Church Hall in Seaford. The District Explorer Unit (14-18) meets at the District Headquarters, Chichester Road, Seaford.
